Where is the exchange here? Proof that he's selling IPs? Proof that it comes from runeloader? There are a lot of implications that just aren't present in the tweet.
I fail to see how he is "tweeting out user IPs in exchange for money". Doubly true if it means they have to share OSB Pro revenue with Jagex. It makes their update process way slower if they constantly need to send every code change they make to Jagex and wait for them to review it.
Imagine being a new player and trying to download the game and you find 2 client listings: one that sounds better in almost every way and another that says, "Use on Thursday mornings because the other client won't work during that time." Can you imagine if you had to download a separate LoL launcher or client or to use on specifically Mondays? It would be a joke.Īnd on the other end, OSB might not even want to be officially endorsed by Jagex. It also looks really unprofessional if you're listing an "official" client on your site that you know is going to break every single week when you do a game update until some 3rd party updates it.
